Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn is an American actress from America. She was best known as Skyler in AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and won Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress for Drama Series 2013 and 2014. She performed the roles of Jean Ward and Martha Bullock and Martha Bullock, respectively, on The Practice. Anna Gunn began acting as an infant as a child in Sante Fe New Mexico. Her family then moved to Ohio, where she continued her interest in performing on theatre. She studied theatre at Northwestern University and spent a year in the British American Drama Academy. Anna was working by the theater in the Chicago region for a couple of years prior to trying her hand at TV as well as films. Anna had her biggest break in the year 1992, when she portrayed Arden in 29 episodes of Down the Shore. At the beginning of 1990, Anna was a frequent guest in TV and film, such as Seinfeld and NYPD Blue. In the mid 2000's she was placed in Deadwood as Martha Bullock for two full seasons. Skyler played Martha Bullock in Breaking Bad (2008). Sully was also one of her characters. Gunn has also appeared on the stage for David Schwimmer's production Sex With Strangers. Gunn also played a part in Numbered Day, which is a series of audio plays. Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. Its strain and ultimate end reflect the final years of Walter White.
